Training and Events
Hinckley Running Club is affiliated to the Leicestershire Road Running League and to the Derby Runner
Leicestershire & South Derbyshire Division Cross- Country League.
Over recent years Hinckley Running Club has enjoyed considerable success in both the XC and Road races, this is down to strength in numbers and a strong team spirit. Everyone is encouraged to take part and represent the Club in these events, but no one is ever pressured. Andy Lauder looks after the road running competitions and Steve Hatcher the cross-country races.
Sarah Forster-Smith is our Ladies Captain, and Steve Hatcher the Men’s Captain. They will both be able to help if you have any queries.
KIT
When you run in these races, the rules require that you wear your club colours. Richard Whitelegg is the man to see to obtain your official club vest, as well as other items, such as jackets, shorts, t-shirts and sweatshirts etc.
