Grace Dieu travelling Adventure
Hi All,
Before i start of my review i would like to tell you first about the Grace Dieu travelling Adventure.
A small group of us had arranged to meet in the Leisure Centre car park at 9am, we all assembled promptly and each of us jumped into 3 cars, Mine - Dev's & Roy's. We set off in the sprinkling of snow Roy leading the way followed by me and Dev, here is the route we took with hidden clues along the way.
Up Trinity Lane and left at the light down to the old picture house opposite the Police Station (Richard goes by heading for the M69) down Hollycroft we go to Morrison's and up the perimiter road to Ashby road light's (John Padbury goes by heading for Coalville) of we go down the perimiter road (New bypass ahead) into Earl Shilton we head and through to the bottom of the New Bypass - (Is it clear what we are doing yet!) left at the roudabout and then left into Desford (don't ask!) through Desford and turn left for Ratby (now we've lostDev!!) Roy stop's for a breather while i go fetch Dev then of we go to Botcheston and yes were on the duel carriage way to Shepshed - past the Shepshed slip road we go down to the M1 roundabout (No! No! your'e thinking) yes were off up onto the M1 to Loughborough, guess what we did'nt get that far we left the M1 early at the Shepshed turn (Few! Yippee! Yes!) Me and Alex both thought Roy was following his SatNav, so when we got to Grace Dieu i had to ask Roy and he said No he was'nt! so my conclusion and advice is not to rush out and buy the New RoyNav satnav! even if it's Buy one get Three Free! Sorry Roy! I'm going to Inverness by Plane!
So to Dave Masser i am sorry but you have lost your (Getting lost before a XC) title to Roy!
