Stilton 7 Entries
The first road race in the LRRL season, the Stilton 7, will take place on Sunday 25th February 2018 at 10.30am. It event will be open for online entries at 8.30pm on Thursday 1st February at the following link: Stilton 7 Entry
Cross Country Taster Session
We are having a taster session aimed at members of the club & the All Sorts who haven’t done cross country but want to give it a go. This will be at Burbage Common near the visitor centre, 2pm on Saturday 10th Feb. 3 miles maximum, with opportunity to shorten. Pace will suit ability of people present. Off road shoes or spikes would be most suitable. (Experienced XC runners also welcome to join in and/or lend shoes!) More info from Kate Perkins or on the Facebook group posts.
Allestree XC Results
The Allestree XC race was notable for having taken place in the snow! 9 of us made it out and the results are up now. Cakes & coffee in the club tent were especially appreciated with the snow falling around us.
Presentation Evening
Another advert for the presentation evening on Sat 3rd Feb, 7:30pm at Green Towers. This will be a celebration of the achievements of members in 2017. Awards will be given out including Standard Times awards, Chairman’s Award, Coaches Award, Beginner of the Year and Runner of the Year. There will also be a buffet and quiz. Please let Odette know if you are coming so we can get numbers for food – Tickets £5.
