Tuesday 25th September 2012
This Tuesday is the club 5k time trial which is being held on a new course. Please meet at the club at the normal time of 6:15 for a 6:30pm start. Due to the inclement weather forcast we will not be hanging around at the start for very long.
The new course is detailed below and we will have Steve, Andy and John at the turning points and Linda and Sarah at the finish. The start will be next to the cricket pitch down Barwell Lane if you would sooner meet there.
Back of Asda.
Well done to everyone who ran this Sunday, in the penultimate summer league race.
Provisional results here.
Well done to everyone who turned up on Wednesday evening for what’s probably the toughest league race of them all, Hungarton 7. Some great results, and a brilliant team turnout. HRC League will be updated soon.
Hinckley will be hosting other members of the Vision 2020 network on Tuesday and we are hoping for a good turn out. Due to the weather I will not be committing to a venue until the day so please watch this space.
Well done to everyone who turned up on this beautiful evening and ran the 1 mile and 5k races.
This year, the Loros events team have taken the responsibility for the entries and results. If you have any queries, please contact them on: 0116 231 8431 or email: email@example.com

Car Park – we’re sorry that a number of you were caught up in delays getting out of the car park after the event. Car Parking is always an issue for us and with all this adverse torrential weather, most of the ground inside the Water Park was water logged and we were unable to use. A late decision was therefore taken to put all cars in the outside car park. Cars have to exit onto a main road, single file, which again did not help the situation. In hindsight, we should have used more manpower, but we can only apologise for the delays on leaving. It is something that we will be looking at in our race de-briefing.
A big thank you too to all the marshalls, supporters, helpers and runners – far too many to name each one, but thank you all.
