Routes for Thursday 30th June:
Although fewer people are attending TR24 this year, we will still be running our traditional Thunder Run warm-up session 🙂 It’s looking dry for tomorrow but if you are keen to break in those new Innov8 Mudclaws then now’s the time!
 
There is only one route but this can be extended ad infinitum by lapping the Burbage Wood section shown. Normal practice is for A&B runners to double up with 2 laps.
 
Meet 18:15 at new Leisure Centre near the park benches outside the cafe or inside in the lower floor room if it’s raining. Run departs at 18:30.

Care point 2: Footwear – It should be pretty dry but consider mixed-terrain shoes or road shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit of mud on!

Meet at Hinckley Leisure Centre 6.15pm for 6.30pm departure or 6.45pm at Sunnyside/Hangmans Lane.

The club’s base is moving to the new Hinckley Leisure Centre at Argents Mead – this will be the meeting point for Tuesday and Thursday training sessions STARTING FROM TUESDAY 3rd MAY 2016!

“The routes are based around the common – I wasn’t sure how many people would want a longer route so I have made the ‘shorter route’ slightly longer for those who want a ‘medium length’ run after weekend marathons.
The longer route involves heading back into the common and back out up the ‘Outwards’ before heading back to base.
Hopefully these routes meet everyones’s needs.”
