Dear Club,
This is my first newsletter so apologies for the length but I thought I would try and cover some key aspects of 2018 and look ahead to 2019. Future editions I promise will be much shorter!
Hinckley Running Club takeover of Bedworth Parkrun…. On Saturday, Hinckley Running Club helped marshall, pace, tail-walk, time-keep, scan, token sort and photograph at Bedworth Parkrun. They also had a fair few runners taking part in the weekly event too. Bradgate Park XC Results
We have received the draft results from the Bradgate Park XC – posted to the Cross Country page.
Our very own, Simon Birch, winning Leicester Half Marathon back in October, with a superb time of 1:11:14!

Derby Runner XC League Race 3: Bradgate Park
The race information from Roadhoggs for the Bradgate Park XC on Sunday 9th December is now on our Cross Country page. New course this year by the look of it.
Well done to all of the representatives from HRC, who ran Derby 10 miler today. Leanne Byard, Diane Wildbur, Jo Langham, Will Pither, Odette Foxall, Charlotte May Sinclair, Sarah Thi, Joanne Williams, Penny Masser, Jessica Daly, Céline Guéry, Gayle Brown and Chris Limmer…..Kudos!! Plenty of Club Standard times achieved today too!!

Holly Hayes XC results
Seniors results for Derby Runner XC League, race 2 at Holly Hayes (18 Nov 2018) are now posted to the Cross Country page. Juniors results to follow when we get them.

Presentation Evening
Our annual presentation evening will be held on Saturday 26th January 2019, 7pm at Hinckley Rugby Club. Tickets will be £10 and include a carvery meal. Please let Odette know if you (and partners/family) will be attending. Payment can be made through BACS (Sort code 05-04-65, Acc no 47287140) and put in the reference that the money is for presentation night.

Standard Times 2018
Applications are now open for this year’s Standard Times awards.

To apply, download and fill in the form, and email it to standardtimes@hinckleyrunningclub.com
Please include in the form a few words about your running year — highlights, lowlights or stories — and also attach to the email your favourite running related photo of yourself from this year. This is for the year book at the presentation night.
The deadline for applications is Midnight on Wednesday, 2nd January 2019. Early entries encouraged.
